In the beginning.....

Hey everyone,

I've decided to document my life and times as a mommy and a wife. I am a mom of 3 soon to be 4 and a wife of a soldier. We've been married for almost 2 years and are expecting our first child together next May.

For the next few months my blog will mostly be about my pregnancy. I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix in 1999 after having two second trimester losses. One at about 18 weeks and the other at 21-22 weeks. Since my diagnosis, I have had to have a cerclage placed between 14 and 16 weeks in order to be able to carry my pregnancies to term. The cerclage is then removed between 35 and 37 weeks and I am able to have a normal vaginal delivery.

I have 3 kids right now, my 9 year old Alex, who was born at 36 weeks; my 6 year old, Ariana, that was born @ 38 weeks; and my youngest Aidan that was born @ 37 weeks and is now 4 years old. And I am now pregnant with our newest edition. Right now I'm 17 weeks 3 days and we should be finding out the sex on January 4th. I am really hoping for *TEAM PINK* but of course we'll love this little one regardless.

I guess that's my introduction for now. I just wanted to get started on this blog as I have been saying I was going to start it for months now. So let's see how this goes....
